Let’s be realistic
Let’s be realistic. Most people are interested in Tawkify because something about their own search for a partner has not been working. After my last long term relationship, I went to therapy and was told I had a “bad picker,” meaning the women I naturally think I want are not necessarily the women who are right for me in a serious relationship. That is part of what I think matchmaking is supposed to provide. We tell the matchmaker about our history, preferences and what we think we want, then give them some room to use an outside perspective and hopefully identify something we might be missing ourselves. I have worked with several Tawkify matchmakers, and I think Chantal did the most homework. I am also in a somewhat difficult location for what I am looking for. I am in the Los Angeles area, but I am not particularly compatible with the stereotypical LA lifestyle. Chantal clearly did the most homework of the matchmakers I have worked with. The woman she matched me with was local, attractive to me, shared many of my interests and values, and on paper was the strongest match I have received through Tawkify. It ultimately did not turn into a second date, but I do not think that reflects poorly on Chantal. I actually think she did what a good matchmaker is supposed to do: look beyond what each person says they want and try to identify what might actually work for them. Sometimes what we are naturally drawn to and what would actually make us happy in a relationship are not necessarily the same thing. That is probably the biggest reason to use a matchmaker in the first place. I think there’s a Rolling Stones song about this. Haha. Can’t always get what you want… but if you try sometimes, you get what you need

Jake is a very thoughtful Matchmaker. He is nonjudgmental, a good listener, and so far his picks have matched my requirements (at least on paper)… Dating at 55 is a really hard thing but with people like Jake in my corner I feel like I at least have a shot!

I've had a great experience working with Victoria. It really feels like she really understands what I am looking for. I really like her aproach on finding matches. My experience with her was too short. I think I would have been more successful if she was my matchmaker from the beginning. I give Victoria 5 stars. I ultimately rate my Tawkify experience with 3 stars. I've had two matchmakers. Victoria was my 2nd one and she is amazing however it was really short. I think my first matchmaker started off strong but the experience degraded over time. I wish I got to switch my matchmaker sooner I think I would have been more successful. There is an account team but they never really check in to see how things are going.
