Donna Barnes

Donna Barnes

In 2001, Donna Barnes went to a party, and it changed her life. Her Manhattan social life won her a starring role in one of the first reality shows…"The Real Sex & the City". She was an actress and model, which led to co-hosting a hit NYC talk show about sex & relationships, and she began writing her first magazine column. NY Newsday dubbed Donna “The Real-Life Carrie Bradshaw” and in 2007, NYU certified her a Life & Love Coach. She started coaching others and realized far too many people didn’t know what a healthy relationship was. She published her book, Giving Up Junk-Food Relationships: Recipes for Healthy Choices, and soon became the on-air relationship expert for Good Morning America. Donna has since coached hundreds of men, and women of all ages, gay and straight from all over the world. She's offered her unique point of view to many national news outlets as well as entertainment and lifestyle television programs, print publications, and online media. She's been through a lot over the past 50+ years — good, bad, and ugly; she loves helping people make better choices than she did.
